Borage Oil
From the monastery garden healthy in the bowl
Borage oil was already popular as a medicinal plant and spice in monastery gardens in the Middle Ages as kukum or cucumber seed. Originally, the plant with the distinctive taste of cucumber comes from the Mediterranean region, but very quickly borage found a place in households in other parts of the world.
Well-tried remedy for all cases
Its key ingredients, such as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, essential oils, silica, vitamin C, and the highest level of γ-linolenic acid (GLS) among the oils, have a positive effect on the heart and circulation, skin and coat, brain, and overall metabolism. Gammalinolenic acid is an important component of the skin and contributes to the formation of tissue hormones, which in turn have anti-inflammatory and anti-itch properties.
